ShopCity Policy

These terms explain the basic rules for using ShopCity as a customer, merchant, delivery participant, city manager, or administrator.

This is a working business policy for the platform. It should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before public launch.

Who can use ShopCity

ShopCity is built for customers, merchants, delivery agents, city managers, and administrators. Regular visitors can register only as customers or merchants. Other roles are assigned by approved ShopCity administrators or city managers.

Accounts and responsibility

  • You must provide accurate account, location, and contact information.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • ShopCity may restrict, suspend, or close accounts that abuse the platform, mislead users, avoid platform fees, or create safety risks.
  • Merchants must keep product prices, stock, descriptions, photos, cashback offers, and availability accurate.

Orders, pickup, and delivery

  • Customers can place eligible orders for pickup or delivery where those options are available.
  • Merchants must confirm and prepare orders within the required timeframe shown in their dashboard.
  • City managers and delivery agents may coordinate delivery orders when delivery is selected.
  • If a merchant does not prepare an order on time, ShopCity may cancel the order and deactivate the affected product listing.

Payments and fees

  • Customers may pay online through ShopCity where supported, or use approved cash or mobile-money collection flows.
  • Merchants may owe ShopCity commission, cashback, service fees, or settlement balances depending on the order type.
  • Overdue merchant balances may cause the merchant account or storefront to be restricted while payment is pending.
  • Online payment processing is handled by approved payment providers. ShopCity does not store full card or mobile-money PIN details.

Cashback and rewards

  • Cashback is a ShopCity loyalty benefit and may be pending until the related order is fulfilled and settled.
  • Cashback, draw entries, and rewards may be reversed if an order is cancelled, returned, refunded, disputed, or found to be fraudulent.
  • ShopCity may adjust reward rules, prize pools, eligible orders, and draw schedules as long as the active rules are shown clearly in the app.

Prohibited use

  • Do not list illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen, prescription-only, controlled, or restricted items.
  • Do not harass users, manipulate reviews, bypass ShopCity fees, or move platform orders into hidden side deals.
  • Do not attempt to access another person's account, payment record, wallet, orders, messages, or admin tools.

Platform changes

ShopCity may improve, pause, or remove features as the business grows. We will try to keep critical marketplace functions stable and communicate major operational changes where practical.

Questions or disputes

Contact ShopCity support from your account menu or visit the support page. If a matter involves an order, include the order number, merchant name, delivery method, photos where relevant, and a clear explanation of what happened.
